Overall, everything I've tested with a USB sound card with Yamaha Steinberg Asio Foobar plugin and .flacs and .eacs.
a) Audio Technica ATH-M50
+: Clean detailed middle by good audibility and middle Penetrate sensing.
+: Bass is not quite as strong, but for all Bass lovers that the "right amount" want just right.
+: Folding mechanism perfect for headphones around his neck with folded away shells in the train or something.
+: Very Loud party fit to all spent media because only 38 ohms, also at popular smartphones.
+: High-resolution image of the one gets the impression it only develops in the head behind the ear even madness..
o: headphones came with a slightly kinked cable.
- The comfort is mediocre. Tight leather earcups with lead to hot eavesdroppers.
b) Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 + 80 Ohm
+: Super if not the best comfort of all ever tested headphones, huge earcups with velvet cushion.
o: 250 ohm version as could be expected fairly quiet but still enough for Normalhöhrer (also on smartphone).
- Both too much bass by spongy sound image without any control, let alone the middle.
c) Ultrasone HFI-580
+: Relatively controlled bass, a bit stronger than at Audio Technica but spongy (good for movies, bad music)
-: Strange unnatural centers that stand out especially compared with the Audio Technica.
d) Philips X1
+: Best among the Bathtub headphones.
+: Dynamic and spatially aufspielend, like immediately.
+: Absolute quality free processing. Much aluminum and cable jacket material. Looks real even better than on the product photo.
o: Stinks at the beginning after billigstem China Import.
o: Lower pillow looks like a sanitary napkin.
-: In the middle, unfortunately, lowered again, thereby going the same controls unit by directness lost. One does not have to be the impression in the recording as Audio Technica, but before intervening with curtain.
Anyone who wants a controlled studio headphones sound with fun Tuning aka (of successful) bass boost of up to all devices at ease and folding trays has who has to have the Audio Technica ATH-M50 at least consulted. Great cinema.
Find other headphones as their evaluation indicate very well and manage their followers. As I said, everyone has another hearing, so called compare.
Value for money: Audio Technica ATH-50
Prize Winner: Audio Technica ATH-50
Significance: Philips X1
Comfort: Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO and Philips X1
Hope someone here to have helped as I was helped with the other reviews.
