Three weeks ago I had brought me a EEE PC 900. It was clear that only a few weeks before a successor should come later. The weaker processor of 900 set for me is not a problem, the battery life specified with 3 hours seemed sufficient. However, in practice this looked very different then: a maximum of 1.5 hours and the battery was again to the wall socket. This was not acceptable. My first idea was then to get me a new battery for about 70 EUR. Property me then but decided because EEE PC 900 for sale on an auction platform and for me to pick the successor.
The acquisition is worth it in my opinion, definitely. The faster CPU is clearly noticeable, especially installations go significantly faster than its predecessor.
But biggest plus is the battery life: you can now set different performance profiles over a hot key above the keyboard. Maturities when the WLAN of almost 7 hours now no longer a problem.
For my needs, the exchange was in any case more than sensible.
