All units are equipped with 3 LEDs. The two devices from Osram have a clear plastic window in front of the LEDs, the light is also considerably more focused, while the other two devices have matte plastic window and thus scatter light more strongly. The latter I find pleasant, as these lamps do not dazzle and because I do not want to be lit but the surrounding area is to be illuminated. The Focused light of Osram lamps appear brighter contrast. The 3 LEDs of Spylux light in the same direction while the 3 LEDs of Nightlux something gegeneindander are rotated and therefore illuminate a wider area, which I like better turn.
The motion of Luxartec device was extremely sensitive and responds already at a distance of 7-9 meters, is approached directly in front of the device. Both Osram unit were approximately 4 meters at the least sensitive. The machine BWL 230 intervened. If one side approximating the lamp reacts Osram Nighlux device first (ie has the largest field of view of 120 degrees) then closely followed by Osram Spylux, later the Luxartec (about 90 degrees) and finally the BWL 230 responded.
Both Osram devices can not be made, but must be suspended. I think that's a shame, because I also like to insert my devices at different locations and the additional option of the device to present the application possibilities increases. The Osram devices are, however provided with magnets and can also be hung on metal walls thus, if one has such in the apartment.
Osram Nightlux: something shapeless, and very fokusiertes bright light. Lights about 20 seconds after.
Orsam Spylux: attractive housing. In addition, can be set with this unit if the lamp when no motion is detected, after 10 or 60 seconds to turn off. Ideally, I think about 20 seconds as the other devices, but that's a matter of taste.
Hartig + Helling BWL 230: works really well. But the battery compartment is approximately 2 mm too short, so I had all the batteries, I've tried, force by force into the housing. I am afraid that the case will break soon, at the latest when the batteries have been changed several times. Turns out to be one of the four lamps immediately off when the light is switched on in the room.
Luxartec night light with infrared motion: a very form-nice device, but slightly more expensive than the other devices in comparison. It provides beautiful blue-white light, turn without movement for about 20 seconds again. Is very elegant, the dimming of the light is switched off. The motion sets the lamp also started when the room lighting is switched on. This is not the case with the other three models. This unit had directly from the front the most sensitive motion detector and reacts at about 7-9 meters distance, but the lateral detection was lower than the Osram devices.
