I have my Eheim air pump 400 to replace this pump. And what now turns out this pump is what I had hoped for from the Eheim. The Bernina I first put on me because of the good price / performance ratio. Was skeptical at first because of the price difference to the Eheim is already huge, and I thought so far, Eheim must simply provide the best for the price. Think again, as I can state now. The air pressure of the Bernina can be adjusted finely by rotating wheel. When Eheim this scheme had not convinced me at all. The Bernina pump should have a lower by 40% compared to the Eheim air pump power consumption. Can I even not confirm because of the too short life. Since the pump of my aquarium constantly running, the power consumption, however, is an important factor. Must here first trust the manufacturer's specification.
