Same look and you the UE MiniBoom only by a modified front grille of the UE Mobile Boombox. The old Logitech variant is the appearance significantly different, with empflindlichen, shiny surfaces.
About the sound of this small speaker is already reported in the many, partly very detailed reviews here on Amazon, in summary, one can say that a large part of users is very happy with the boom boxes. My subjective opinion about the sound - there are certainly better (transportable) loudspeaker - a bit louder boxes similar expenditure - but none is so handy and also insensitive when it comes time outside.
However, the mini-boom and Mobile Boombox differ significantly:
The max. Volume of the mini boom is higher compared to the Mobile Boombox, also plays the old Logitech variant louder on.
The mini boom can be via app (eg iPhone) serve and pair with a second mini-boom. Can affect the sound image (loud-better) but what is only on a small scale and should not be buying tsche ident on the app. Using the app, you can retrieve the state of charge - which is not even wrong. The two older versions do not offer these benefits.

Those who so loudly loves - and possibly two speakers for correct stereo sound would, for the Mini Boom properly. Who smallest possible speakers with acceptable sound would go, who should opt for the Mobile Boombox - insbesonder because the 40 is also cheaper.

The app allows the mini boom when using two speakers stereo setting or dual mono, so that the second box, eg sonicated a second room.
There are many companies selling almost identical Boom Dinger, representing what I call anchor (here on Amazon), whose sound-tuning (the differences generated by the Elektonikeinstellungen, the chassis are approximately the same) is slightly different. The aforementioned anchor I know that goes in the direction of the Logitech Mini Boombox. This will, even tell NoNames, are to have cheaper, but do not exhibit the robust housing of UEs and are usually well-tuned a bit quieter.
In a nutshell: These speakers are not hi-miracle, but amazing for the size - and absolutely mobile - by the charging function via micro USB (Logitech Mini USB) In addition, an external USB battery charging / operate so that one does not run out of power in an emergency outdoor ;-).
