I bought the card reader for my MacBook Pro 17 "(2011), where he properly performed under even under MacOS X 10.7 his service. Unlike some other readers for the ExpressCard slot has a small drivers are installed, the one on the homepage Download the manufacturer can (I suppose the reason is that the Transcend has its own controller).

The Reader will disappear completely in the slot, he is not above and closes exactly to the housing of the computer, so that it can remain permanently in the device. The inserted SD card is also not over. The speed of data transmission is very high, SDXC cards are properly recognized.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Transcend card reader, especially for Mac users with a 17 "MacBook Pro, which unfortunately does not yet have a built-in card reader yes.
