Let's clear "The doublethink" is not the best book Michéa. This is a collection of articles published in "The New obs" anarchist magazine "Refractions" and an interview on Radio Libertaire. The purpose of the book is an explanation of the concepts defined in its previous and excellent book "The empire of the lesser evil." For those who have already read the book and its older "Impasse Adam Smith" it is almost unnecessary to read "The doublethink". Only the last 80 pages provide new insights into the thinking of Michéa. We find such a beautiful reflection on the mystification of the sacrosanct "Human rights" and explains how the concept has been warped over time (as was already pointed out in The Jewish Question Marx and Engels in The Anti-Dühring).
As usual there are the fundamental concepts developed by the philosophy professor from Montpellier: the Orwellian common decency, the critique of liberal logic of liberalism and libertarian defense of conservative socialism etc. but also his humor and sharp criticism of Libe and readers, the multiculturalist left of the "struggle against all discriminations" ...
