Complete book, great to start knitting

This book is unique to learn knitting. Its small size allows for convenient carry around. The explanations are detailed and clear. Most importantly it contains a lot of pictures, which show stepping movements. Although black and white, they are very legible.

It discusses in detail all the bases if necessary, explaining why this is so, allowing to understand the method rather than blindly repeat. The part on catching errors is terribly useful is the only book I know of that deals with this subject.

Add to this its low price, this book is a must-have to start knitting.
