Do you think of the bridges?
I propose some tests and reviews several models that I used, and judge their quality and their defects. Just click on my profile to see the (few) devices tested.
A bridge is by definition a compromise, let it be said! Rarely excellent in everything, they often offer a good average between amateur compact basic and expensive reflex whenever you want a "big" zoom.
The L820 or 819, depending on the colors, belongs to this family with its X30 zoom (equiv. 24/720 mm).
What strikes at first premir is its compactness and lightness. Hardly bigger that a compact, 450g accused, mostly because of the 4 BATTERIES néccessaires to his diet.
Everyone will enjoy the "class" of its kind pearlescent coating / varnish, but not sure the use of the contingencies will quickly undermine it.
In situation, Nikon is a pleasant companion carry and fans can count on high-performance cars modes. Fortunately, however, because there is NO manual mode ... What experts quickly find annoying.
With no viewfinder, L therefore practice with the screen. Otherwise excellent with its high definition and good brightness fit outdoors in bright sunlight quickly becomes problematic. Even with the use of the zoom. As neither rotary nor tilt, warranty frustration ... Too bad, because the stabilization of the unit is excellent and the perspective of very good quality for this price range.
Indoors, the L820 returns to form. Capable of great pictures, thanks to a properly dosed tjrs flash and white balance difficult to find fault (one of the best I've seen to date).
Also note a large qualté macro modes. The optics, again, provides a nice sharp image on almost all focal lengths, which is quite rare!
In the end, NIKON is an excellent price / quality ratio, ideal for the amateur enthusiast "I advanced, I trigger" (point and shoot). Experts and demanding will have its limitations.
Good compromise around 150 after better there .... but it's more expensive ....
