I am / was actually a faithful Bosch'ler system, but it was not more - the chinaware for German premium price - Enough!
So a system switch to the Makita 18V system - for lawn mower I've 4 x 5Ah batteries fetched and 2 quick charger (45 min full charge)
my (subjective) impressions for Makita BLM430:
-) Quality is typical Makita - TOP (high quality plastic and steel and important places and even real ball bearings)!
-) Assembly is done in 5 minutes, thought-folding mechanism for storage
-) Handle height is 2 way adjustable, enough even though I'm 196 cm tall.
-) Stubble is excellent, the width of the wheels match the weight, ie no excessive lane
-) Excellent I think the grass catcher - weight and stability are top design, very stable, yet foldable and plenty of room A and unmounting goes without major problems
-) Depending on the length of the grass / moisture and cutting height ranging 5 Ah battery for 400-500 m2
-), The central cutting height adjustment is very good!
-) I find the weight at the upper limit (without self-drive)
-) The maneuverability is sufficient (there are lighter, more agile but also by lower quality)
-) The battery cover is pretty, but after mowing is still inside all dirty (I clean at the end of compressed air)
the bottom line is the battery mowers Makita a perfect compromise, good quality, good materials in the right places, weight and truly is bearable, but there is a super stubble without burdening the environment with too much noise and pollution!
