Purchase of V-TAC 13W E27 LED Globe in January 2015th
This replaces with us in the kitchen almost identical 14 watts (= 75W light bulb) OSRAM 120 mm ESL-Globe, which produced many years very pleasant light. A mercury-containing ESL I did not want to order online because of the risk of breakage during transport.

The 13W V-TAC is compared to the "aged" OSRAM significantly lighter and should meet me at least a 80W light bulb. The light I find something white (possibly lies also in the brightness), than with the predecessor. Contrary to my previous experience with LEDs the light color and distribution is very good. With direct views of the Globe, I can make no disturbing light source on the frosted screen Globe. The maximum brightness is achieved immediately after switching on.

For longevity, I can not write anything yet, because with us until almost 2 months in use.
