A power supply is not included. This should at least 24V supply a current of 2 amps (average of 48 watts). The light band then delivers a very bright light with a pleasant color temperature similar to incandescent lighting. I have assembled the band of light in the kitchen under the tall units behind a screen as workplace lighting and was surprised at the brightness itself. Also stuck visible under the exhaust hood, the band did not disruptive. I have to cut the tape into several parts and connected via thin cables. For but a bit of experience in soldering is required.
