What have I been gesuchtet CoD. More than 1000 hours I've invested in Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2 since I was there in every part. Fanatic I have my favorite shooter against any criticism defended, no matter how logical and the like have been. For me was only one in the foreground: Fast, uncomplicated and absurd action, to shoot on small maps in long matches the frustration after an annoying work of the soul and to roar with friends and French vied to headset. As long as it was going well in multiplayer, I was happy; a lousy round I could tolerate. That has helped me through the crazy Spawnmechaniken in MW3 and ignore the overpowered MPs in Black Ops II. The problem with ghosts?

I play now since the launch, and to date no one wanted to part with me this "That was cool" - Set sense. This may on the one hand be due to teething problems after the launch, on the other hand probably also on the 3000 other things that Infinity Ward has done here really bad. That starts with the Maps: What exactly should constitute? They are too big for CoD MUCH. Nevertheless, so that sniping is impossible so winding and flat, without viewpoints because one of participating teams are constantly on the slippers. So I'll come straight to Spawnsystem which was spoken in the least Ghosts disaster of the millennium. Far too often happened previously: An opponent does, I'll spawne and blown down from the same opponent. To be killed away from the spawn at all a craze in Ghosts. Perfect to fit the new gimmicks like Oracle drone Tracker visor and the like. Honestly, what there at all walls or a radar? Marked but all the same on the map with a thick red dot, comes out the same thing. In almost every firing camera can clearly be seen that the enemy knew exactly where I will appear equal. Of course I also benefiting, but it sucks anyway, as man against the reaction rate has become irrelevant in the fight man, but only a matter of who has the thickest toy degree swing in the sky. And if that is not the case, then does the Lag Compensation the rest too, is a classic. I shoot an opponent 5 times in the back, then he turns around and slams me into disarray. In the Killcam: Not a single Hitmarker.

The list of such incidents is long, and they have one thing in common: they take me to the game. Angry I start the next game, start running and shooting wildly around me. Same result: Clever opponents camp now all key points in objective-based modes and blow me off again and at times, without me having a chance to take revenge. At the end I win the match, but always with a KDR of approximately 0.3. This is not really fun. Especially since we know that the enemy "Killwhores" are the finest and the only reason to go to Objective modes to there to ambush other players with bombers and silencer. In MW3 that was unthinkable, after 2 kills I had every opponent by the balls. As I was also not so often geballert in the back like this. You absolutely do not know where the enemies come, the spawns seem completely random to happen, a system is not for me to realize.

What has also left me the language: the fact that you have not taken successful and popular game modes from the predecessors (CTF, demolition squad or team defender)! How So? This will cost not something! Seems to me as if you want to annoy the player. Search and Destroy was replenished (after violent protests by the community) now. So much decency one possesses at Activision yet ..

The much-heralded "Dynamic Maps" are, however, a bad joke. A gas station explodes, here and there you can blow up a raster excessive hole into a wall, and falls somewhere a bus into an abyss. As an exception, you should still call "Freefall" here, here it rumbles really neat and all the map areas are collapsing. Still undynamic as the maps (if that is possible) are, meanwhile, the "Action Moves," in particular the contextual backrest, the slip Move and fast jumping over cover. The Sliden looks after all of casually while leaning is absolute rubbish. How it works: When approaching a cover to the player an arrow appears. Should we now targets, so you automatically targets around the cover and can then fire from full coverage. That is the theory. In reality, it takes 2 to 3 seconds to drive at all the coverage so fitting that it works. In Call of Duty, unfortunately, certain death.

Given these staggering facts, it does not help that the soldiers editor basically is a nice idea and also works well; especially the involvement of CoD app works well. Matchmaking and lags not out of the ordinary. Games I find immediately and invites all liquid quickly and completely as you would expect from Batman. Even hackers have so far failed to materialize. Only the gameplay is not the same.

Other oft-cited criticisms as weak graphics, Innovation poverty and the allegation that each CoD is only one of profiteering hastily out geballerte copy of the annual predecessor may, indeed make sense, but are not relevant to me. So CoD works now, and it will continue to function as long as fools like me buy it. For what it wants to be, Batman has always been a perfect game. As I said: So far.

* Update: It is now the 1 December, I see myself forced to introduce a small update for the game. Ghosts often with quite large updates have been distributed over the past few weeks patched. Particularly the lifting of anyway mindless 6GB RAM barrier is likely to delight many. In addition, the Spawnradius was remarkably increased, although I still ausraste often here. The rest one knows of COD. After a certain period of acclimatization and getting to know the maps, the walkways and the weapons and the equipment it runs better. As for the maps, but I take nothing back. They are still underground poorly designed, down to Strike Zone and Octane (and Flooded, with lots of love), it pushes me mad in the lobby. I briefly considered to raise the rating to 3 stars, but there is still too much, what bothers me.

The most important thing: The hitbox. Because of the long distances in the maps you now requires more effective weapons with good scopes. The meeting is but somehow just pure luck. Even now, nearly a month after the launch I have a feeling that will be decided arbitrarily on results. I hold directly at an enemy, and only every second shot hits. Starts the opponent to move, the sighting is a matter of luck. Major drawback about this: These heavy weapons make me slowly. Because the maps are after all still strong winding, I therefore run continuously danger that suddenly a shotgun Noob hops around the corner and my thanks to Marathon and perceived speed of light shoots through the pile before I have ever sighted. Spraying for the win.

The second point: The Hitmarker. In Batman to die quickly, is normal. As fast as in ghosts but that was never the case. Once they manage a Hitmarker, can ever press F, because the second shot kills, no matter what weapon. No chance, still fast and dodge zurückzufeuern.

Besides, despite the Spawnverbesserung: as often as in Ghosts you will anywhere else killed from behind, the side or top. Applies to all my friends, not just for me. I do not know why this is, but it's absolutely not normal, what's going on. I hope for further improvements, so I think sometimes by more than 3 games, before I hit the keyboard to the wall and finish the game.

2. Update from 24.01.2013

Have recently had the pleasure of PS4, with ghosts. For the first time ever a CoD on the console, and it was great ..! The game runs ultra liquid, not only looks better in parts than on my super high-end PC .. when you actually started at Activision, rauszuballern PC versions only halfheartedly somehow? What else I can say, after I now as a complete novice in this week of fun with the game had as in the 4 months on the PC before. Bin has always been a staunch PCler at FPS, but I'll probably change now. I would also advise all those who want to do to Ghosts on the PC, or even the next, which is available in stores as safe as the Amen in the church this November. With the PC version of Ghosts can support the desk, sad but true ..
