I just got this controller. So for now not really mind about the party use. But against an opinion on the configuration part. I spent a little time. Be careful if you read the accompanying manual (rather the attached sheet :)), I know should not read manuals, but for this kind of product there is no intuitive as possible. You'll flash a QR code that will allow you to upload files, on my first retail Honor 6 files are saved not .zip apk therefore no way to do an install. Method simply rename the .apk and it works.
