Positives:
+ Fairly easy conversion of PDFs into Word documents.
+ Clearer reading mode (particularly advantageous on small screens).
+ Simple operation layout, beautiful design.
+ Networking with the cloud, in which case the time only SkyDrive is implemented correctly. Not so good if you use Dropbox or Google Drive. However, you can manually insert these services as a location.
+ Price: If Office 2013 on both PCs for the Liezenz one is available, the price of the equivalent of about 2.5 cents per day is absolutely justified.
+ Easy synchronization of Kontankten and calendars (eg with Google Calendar).
+ 60 minutes per month Skype Credit to calls leading to landlines.
Neutral:
o to the touch functions I can not say anything because I on my 13 inch laptop use Office 365.
Negatives:
- If you have a university e-mail address that is recognized by Microsoft is the authorization process easy to manage. If you, however, a teacher at a school, the authorization procedure may take part weeks.
- Differences between Office 365 and Office 2010 Professional are marginal, a switch is not worth, in my opinion.
Conclusion:
Office 365 can best play out its strengths and innovations in mobile devices such as an Ultrabook, especially the reading mode is worth a lot here. Visually, it fits perfectly on Windows 8. It is stable and fast.
