I have been many years of loyal Acronis fan and was previously thoroughly satisfied. Now that I've made myself a new laptop with Windows 8/64 bit, was upgraded to True Image 2013 fällig.Doch what I have experienced, has cured me permanently from Acronis. Acronis advertises me of compatibility with Win Win 8. All 8/64 bit but systems have forcibly UEFI / Secure Boot and GPT disks. Thus Acronis comes but apparently not cope. I have bought the software in early May, but until today there is no reasonable recovery media that clearly comes at need with UEFI Secure Boot and. The current Built 6514 will also detect any GPT disks. The service, which is available for free only for a month, trying with crutches on a PE disk to helfen.Alles in all, however, complicated and for a product that had previously received many awards, totally unacceptable. Acronis brings increasingly in recent years immature products to market and can develop to an end and with only one month of free service even in the rain stehen.Ich have now looked around for an alternative and I find anything with Macrium Reflect the customer then. This software is not overloaded, comes easily to both a USB stick as well as a CD / DVD with rescue disk Secure Boot, UEFI and GPT cope. Rescue media also can be automated for beginners as Win-PE or Linux variant as a USB stick or CD / DVD simply erstellen.Eine software as it should be - for all Win 8 / UEFI Secure Boot plagued users a real recommendation! For me True Image has died.
