Who does not have the nerve to continuously support the camera on self-timer and the (seemingly eternal) wait 10 seconds? Here, the RS-60 E3 creates Remedy! The shutter button on the remote control accepts the same functions as the on the camera, so it is necessary not getting used to:
half press focus =
Press fully = tripping
lock = Long Exposure (in mode "bulb"), a number of shots in succession (in all other modes with Batch Imaging)
The wonderful thing is that I can use on my 400D him even. From the 10D (also on the 20D, 30D, 40D) he no longer works. With long exposures in the mode "bulb" to a compatible digital SLR (300D, 350D, 400D) and the elapsed time will be shown on the display, so you can without shaking and accurately stop recording with cable release.
The length of the cable is actually okay, for me it's just a trigger to prevent camera shake (it is advisable to often also the function of the camera to make the mirror before fold, as this may lead to shock). The tip on the extension (some reviews below) is good, cheap and highly recommended!
So why does it only 4 stars? It's simple: 20 euros for such simple technique is really a bit too much! Apparently Canon holds the number constantly down so that no one can do a really good offer.
Nevertheless, a good product and one of my standard tools!
