In summer 2011, I had new Ergon GP1 (black-gray aluminum) mounted on our older trekking. Important to me was the turning stability and I was not disappointed.
The installation was smooth, the metal part secures the hand stabilization and rotational stability, rubber shows no signs of wear after 8 months.
Buyer please to the different handle lengths variants careful therefore text of instructions:
There are only handlebars with a diameter of 22.2 mm and a non-curved mounting area of
minimum: 132 mm side for standard circuits,
132 mm left and right 96.5 mm for Rohloff / Nexus,
94.5 mm on both sides of Grip Shift.
Compared I find the Lord Mans Primergo (with stub Squirrel) something positive, because rubber is a little harder and no metal can be felt from the outside.
