I have tried them for this reason, and it works .... einwandtfrei.
The Canon Test image in comparison between Original and Pelikan shows no discernible differences in color.
It should be noted in the calculation of the price difference, however, the fact that the original cartridge 21ml content and the Pelikan cartridge has only 16ml content. Nevertheless, the Pelikan cartridge is effectively much cheaper.
Only the level indicator is not working, so you are forced to estimate when a new cartridge is needed, or it is ensured that you will always have the same ready a replacement.
An additional, environment-related advantage is the fact that Pelikan has remanufactured printer cartridges and the recycling bag is included with each cartridge in order to dispose of the empty cartridges in an environmentally friendly and free of postage.
CONCLUSION:
For this cost saving I suppose the drawback with the level indicator gladly accept, and therefore I will continue to migrate from the original to the Pelikan cartridges and can under these conditions absolutely recommend.
