Crazy world

In 1990, "Crazy World" and was produced by Keith Olsen and the Scorpions, making it the first album without the participation of Dieter Dierks since "In Trance" (1975). They had from the successful producer for "Savage Amusement" (1988) separately. Otherwise, were back in the game: Rudolf Schenker (Guitars), Klaus Meine (lead vocals), Matthias Jabs (lead guitar), Herman Rarebell (drums) and last time Francis Buchholz (bass guitar).

"Crazy World" with more than 16 !!! Million copies sold the most successful album of the group from Hannover. Mainly it depends, of course, along with the massive hit `Winds of change`. I must confess, I find `Winds of change` not so bad. It was evident for many people the right song at the right time.
A total of 5 singles were released, also `Send me an angel` was quite a successful single.
In 7 of the 11 songs Jim Vallance appears as co-author, there have been very rare in the Scorp. When a song `Kicks after six` even first time Francis Buchholz worked as an author.

For "Crazy World" applies to me the same as for `Winds of change`, it's not so bad. The album like it even better than its predecessor, but can on the other side with albums like "Love Drive" and not compete "Blackout". "Crazy World" is my overall well-behaved, are lacking harder rock songs. This may possibly be due to the participation of Jim Vallance. However, contradicted by that he was not currently involved in the successful singles.

Anyway, the album as a whole is very good, but more than 3 stars I can not forgive. However, it is better than it is made of many.
