For me it's probably the strongest Kiss album. One can hear through in one, no filler on the disc. All 4 Members provide vocals. Front-tongue genes do only 2 pieces, a typical Stampfer and an extremely narcissistic ode to himself. Paul shows himself once again as the best songwriter of the band. Both known hit singles and the very emotional "Magic Touch" to his credit. And who "I Was Made For Loving You" does not love or who at least not respected, where you can no longer help. Peter plays / sings generally only one piece, "Dirty Livin ', comes from good, is fun, would have passed on" Rock and roll over. " The session drummer Anton Fig from South Africa took the lion's share of the drum responsibility. Ace may shouten 3 pieces, including the Rolling Stones cover "2,000 man", and he brings it well in his typical style.
The conditions are right as well, cover is a cult, production is good and the 1997 remastering brings the desired Bummss without drifting into Loudness War (which is also closer to releases of recent years has emerged).
The bottom line is a real fun record with a lot of rock and roll and drive and by no means a pop or disco music. Give the plant a chance! 5 star you have to forgive mandatory but I just get up to four to Mr Stanley and Simmons.
