This is (recorded in the late 1990s) to a purely instrumental CD by Jerry Reed compositions which are present here in complete re-recordings. Jerry will be accompanied (see cover) and partly a band of two other guitarists, playing some of his best-known pieces. "The Claw", "Jerry's Breakdown", "Swingin 69" and "Blue Land" are just a few excerpts from this excellent recordings. Some of the pieces were slightly rearranged and performed in versions for two or more guitars. It is a pleasure, Jerry and the other guys listening to while playing. Unfortunately, Jerry Reed is a criminally underrated guitarist, although he extremely influential on subsequent generations (including Tommy Emmanuel, Eric Johnson) - yes, even older generations (including James Burton, Chet Atkins) - was. Every guitarist should have his pleasure with these recordings, because such a compilation of his instrumental works is not available otherwise. "Pick it, son!"
