To hear from Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young again after forty years has surprised me hard - you set this too? Was not CSNY but Mumford & Sons, as I discovered when I came across this disc. The use of mostly natural instruments (Zupfbass, banjo, brass sections, classical guitar, drums are used) and the inclusion in an obviously good studio, connected to a sophisticated choral singing and compositions that pay homage to the folk of British and American-style, making "Sigh no more "an exciting work of this band. Especially in the first half the band looks lively, very dynamic, tremendous sound (Anspieltipps especially the first two titles "Sigh No More" and "Cave", but also "Roll away your stone"), while the second half slowly into is had derived and nice, but is no longer exciting. Total remains after listening a melancholic aftertaste, but also the joy of having once again found a band, not just press the little buttons, but can provide really good Handmade music on their feet. Simply fascinated me the happy marriage of folk elements from the island and American sounds.
