To select stand among other things still the Asus TF303K, which is a modification of TF303CL only without Tastaturdock. However, the display of the latter has a relatively poor brightness (see. Eg Test on notebookcheck.com).
But exactly what the display is a strength of Acer Iconia Tab: It is super bright, evenly lit, responds right, ie not too sensitive but as if on command. In my device I have minimal (!) Halos (actually they do not deserve the name, it is more like a very faint glow) in two places. This fall, however, on a just in complete darkness plus boats or other black background.
Other technical details I can save, they were dealt with in other reviews already sufficiently or are in the product description.
Although the pre-installed Android 4.4.2 brings unfortunately with a bunch of useless pre-installed apps, but which disable fortunately - albeit not uninstall - let. Other than that it is the same and, accordingly, "lean" as it also depends on Google's Nexus devices are used or came. The latter have meanwhile Android 5.0 aka Lollipop.
I myself use the tablet exclusively at home for film / media-streaming, surfing, etc., for which there is absolutely suitable. Of games I only Blizzards Hearthstone been tested after it has appeared almost simultaneously with my purchase for Android tablets. In the loading sequences jerky minimal, but the actual gameplay is running as smoothly.
Conclusion: For the above-mentioned "halos" and the many pre-installed apps could be awarded only 4 stars. However, the entire remaining convinced the tablets at a price of 250 too much, as that would be fair. Therefore, a strong buy recommendation.
PS: Do not be put off by the previous 2-star rating. The Lord has obviously caught the stripped down version with only 1GB of RAM, among other things. ;)
