It is certainly as far and near, I will never let myself be tempted by a youth reading even too young, but for once, the pen of the author bluffed me squarely. My 14 year old daughter agrees with me.
Lara lives with her two sisters and their father the only student from the death of their mother. She feels safe among his own, with his big sister who takes care of them like a real mom. His secret is to write letters to boys she loved to secretly whose former boyfriend of her older sister. Non-sent letters but treasured hat in a box given by his mother.
Worse Lainée must get away from the family, in a Scottish university, which will greatly disturb Lara Jane, especially that some time later, the secret letters so carefully protected were sent to those concerned. Boys. Disaster !!
A whole upheaval that will disrupt the daily life of this teenager with a hint of intrigue
A very cute story for teenagers but not trivial at all. (Age secrets, love affairs and sometimes with real love stories) A new look at youth, the feelings of teenagers ..... my daughter why not.
Personally, I found the pen Jenny Han very fluid, very modern, with enough humor to not fall asleep.
And honestly, even if I'm too old, I think everyone can read, and spend some quality time;)
Just to see a little behind.
