We will follow the young Elinor, personal secretary of his mother's fame. She spends her time studying old stones and draw them to his mother. Until she meets her cousin, Lord Ravenhurst who succeed with its charm and temperament to bring out the character of the girl. He sublimate, led him to be more feminine in her outfits and arouse his desire by his charm and humor.
But this cousin is a lover of art that was stolen a rare piece. He absolutely must find her, and he will lead Elinor and her mother in the case.
Help the girl, Theo must show imagination and strength to resist the desire that inspires the attractive young woman.
It's cute, it's full of good feelings without being disgusting. We like to follow their adventures, although I would have liked a little more spice to the plot. I acknowledge that the relationship (admittedly distant) between the two young men made me wince a bit, but it is possible that it is common for the time.
A small unpretentious novel to enjoy at tea time :)
