Cute Combination Tablet

After my laptop broke down after many years, I have long wondered whether I should buy a unit again in the order of 21 inches. To transport this is definitely too unwieldy. For this reason, I have only looked at a few netbooks, but I am then encountered on the T100 Transformer Pad. It costs about as much as a decent netbook, but has some nice advantages.
The T100 consists of two parts, one of the keyboard unit and the flat screen. On the keyboard there is a holder, into which you can plug in the tablet. There is on one side of corresponding terminals, which then engage in the bracket. Put together the whole thing looks like a netbook. It can be in this state also fold up and take, without having to be afraid to damage the screen or in your pocket to scratch.
Disassembled can be used like a normal tablet, the screen unit. This means all the technology, ie CPU, battery storage is also located here. The result is that the tablet a bit heavier than the keyboard. For me a minor complaint because the keyboard at the same time is indeed the base. So then the focus is near the top and the design looks a bit shaky. Interfere now in practice but actually not so much.
The engagement also acts stable, but as with all mechanical parts, which are often exposed to a movement that will only become clear with time whether the connection still holds as good even after months and unplug.
In the operation, the T100 has convinced me in any case. The Intel CPU ensures that everything works smoothly. When scrolling, zooming etc. no stuttering me noticed. Even apps or games have so far worked without difficulty. The nice thing is that on the device no Android or Windows Mobile running, but normal Windows 8.1, as used on desktop PCs. This means you can normally install its usual programs such as Office and use. Are on the keyboard plus USB ports so you can connect a mouse or an external hard drive and use really good to work the Transformer Book.
All in all I would recommend this device because it performs well and practical benefits for the price of a netbook.
