I like most notebook actually 99% higher than the HiFi amplifier connected to the headphone jack. However, if I can not hear music, and the amplifier z. B. is on TV sound, of course, I do not hear any PC sounds more because the internal speakers are disabled when a plug plugged into the headphone jack. Therefore I also extend speakers who have no bass - the main thing, I hear something. And that fulfill these little cubes perfectly, and also also look fabulous.
The sound is not so bad. Of course, do not compare with a real stereo, but still head and shoulders above integrated laptop speakers, the well known sound more like a nuclear war in a tin can.
The only downer is the ridiculously short cable for me. As you notice, that your speakers are designed for direct connection to a notebook. Those like me who goes on branches, or they want to connect to a desktop PC is no 3.5-phone plug and USB extensions do not have much joy.
I have to say to partially criticized buzz, buzzing, etc., that this does not occur to me. But I can not imagine where it comes from. The speakers is indeed a USB port as a power source. Now, if this connection is not cleanly separated from the rest of the electronics on the computer, it can of course happen that transfer any unwanted power fluctuations etc. in the form of tones to the speaker.
For me, the speaker z. B. hanging on a USB hub, and when I turn on the laptop, I hear for about 10-20 seconds and enormous noise and hum in the speakers, the voltage on the USB ports must be likely only stabilize. After that, then as I said nothing at all to hear.
So if you have problems with any unwanted noises, should even try a different USB port or connect the speakers testhalber to a USB hub with its own power supply or a USB power supply. The latter, there are indeed already for a few euros. By that I mean adapters that you can run USB devices directly into a wall outlet.
