This is not to disparage "Once" however. On the contrary, I love the album. Extremely intimate and sensitive songs about the birth and death of love. Most of the songs are also available on the magnificent album "The Swell Season", the Hansard and Irglova added to Prague, where the singer took a break from his millionaire Irish band The Frames. Much to the advantage of the two songs is also available in a version of the anthem stages Frames (Falling Slowly and When Your Mind's Made Up), but the stripped-acoustic versions are the very personal lyrics much more accessible, I think.
I almost forgot to mention that the album of course the soundtrack for the well recommended movie Once "forms: a broken by love and financial difficulties Busker / Staubsaugerreparateur makes a plagued by similar problems young Czech woman on the streets of Dublin a tender friendship / Almost. -Romanze ensues and both found on the common love of music back on their way.
The highlight of the album is in the rest of the extremely catchy Falling Slowly ".
