A camera, a history of neighbors .... I will reveal nothing of the plot, it would be inexcusable. But Barbara Abel made a fine feat in this novel: the tone is friendly, simple style, without bulb, harmless ... the most mundane consédérations on how to feed the children, to educate them in other rub on happiness, friendship .... one wonders where the author is coming ... and she comes here: insidiously first, then more clearly, and wondering until the last page where it s 'stop, how far they dare to go, and she goes, frankly! In short: a successful narrative, under false air of bonhomie, that keeps us on the alert without fail, makes us constantly vacillate between the most opposite assumptions. A very strong suspense. And a very black history. Congratulations.
