Les Fleurs du Mal / Charles Baudelaire (1821-1867)
There are a number of books lon still retains that are within range and our bedside, which are part of our lives and lon opens either at random or days looking for the poem that knows how to move us in that moment. This is the case of "Flowers of Evil".
The collection Flowers of Evil was published in 1857 and includes 129 poems.
Baudelaire termed this collection reveals all his thoughts, his heart, his religion and his hatred, datroce!
The poet in his poetry book bluntly and shamelessly confesses in all sincerity, says hopes, failures and ultimately his downfall. He sees a certain beauty in Evil from where the title of the collection.
Who has learned "Lalbatros" (often to have fun déquipage the men), or "Harmonies du Soir" (Here come the time), or "Song dAutomne" (Soon we will plunge into the cold darkness) and "Meditation" (Be O my wise Pain and stand quieter).
But I choose to illustrate my point an excerpt from "damned women".
Extended to her feet, calm and full of joy,
Delphine's brewing with burning eyes,
Like a strong animal watching a prey,
After washing with marked First of teeth.
She was looking in the eye of her pale victim The silent canticle that pleasure sings, And this infinite and sublime gratitude That comes out of the eyelid and quun long sigh.
Turn to me your eyes full of stars and dazur! For one of those charming glances, divine balsam, Obscure pleasures I will lift the veils And I tendormirai in an endless dream. "
