Now to what is most important: The Game
I only arrived at the 9th hour of play and thus 49% of the story, but can say that this game is one of the best games I've ever played.
Man with a fever continuously, as Lara now probably can survive again and fighting almost throughout his life or the lives of others and to the combat system and the puzzles and the climbing system makes the game just a lot of fun. The beautiful graphics, the skill system of own abilities, where many one learns only later, and the cutscenes always suddenly occurring shortly provide for the first time in Tomb Raider that it is never monotonous.
Even the characters are mostly grown on me in this game really fond of, which indeed is a huge step forward for a Tomb Raider. ;)
The story is really well done, not very predictable and you notice it clear that there is still a Tomb Raider title.
Now I want the game not praise too much, so I come to the criticisms:
- A little too simple "survival system". By that I mean that you have to hunt any animals in order to survive, must find no source to drink, must not collect branches to make arrows, etc. arrows finds so just lying around everywhere in quivers and the rest of his items can you all with an upgrade and the same subject: Salvage
So kept rather plain, but now not so bad. Would have been nice if you could also take care of anything himself so must, since it's about survival here.
- Everything you anfässt is somehow broken in this game. Is then probably a bit unrealistic, I think, even if it naturally increases the action considerably. :)
- Nvidia graphics cards users should still wait for a newer driver, as the game likes to crash times. Now is not really bad, as is quite often automatically saved, but still quite annoying.
So once I have played through the game and I still would like to add something, I'm going to do then still later.
This is now my impression of the first half of the game, so to speak. :) But I think, as not much is going to change as the game for me is really the best for a long time.
Edit: I have the game now played out and stand by my opinion.
However, the end was a little earlier than expected and after about 13 hours of play, the main story was "already" past. Now I can freely travel back and forth to get the remaining percentages of the game between the bearings of the island. ('m Only at about 68%)
What I believe has been missing in this Tomb Raider, is that one here could unlock any new clothes more for Lara after the playthrough. A pity, really. :)
The multiplayer I have now also been tested by the way and I have to say that he is not half as bad as I expected. Here you can ascend levels and thus new skills, weapons, characters to unlock, etc.. There are also several different game modes, so it does not become boring. (Eg Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch)
Finally, I stand by my recommendation to buy me the game really fun. :)
