Actually, my expectations were rather modest, just another Best Of, my first thought was when I read the tracklist. But I'm De Phazz fan, so I gave the whole thing a chance and am more than impressed! Yes, the songs are well known, but so fresh and repackaged, you do hear them again anytime. Exclusively acoustic guitar and bass ... are at the forefront, sparingly garnished with vocals, trumpet and drums, the swings, the "mambod" that sounds like summer!
It is De Phazz, without question ... although, at one or the other song (eg, Faith, Bye bye love) they were hardly to realize an interesting, folksy experiment. But what distinguishes mE De Phazz, they reinvent themselves every now and then a little new!
In short, 5 stars for the summer-sun-feel-good music, "rotate" the definitely a long time in my Player
