I have with me a water hardness of 24 dH. If the filter is new, comes with water from the tank 5 dH (perfectly fine). I use the container only for coffee and tea water (about 2 liters a day). After 3 weeks (45-50 l) I measured again and lo and behold, the water hardness is increased and there was water with 21 dH from the container.
After further testing, I would have to replace a filter every 2 weeks, which makes things more expensive again :-(
According to Britta, the filter cartridge must be replaced after a consumption of 100 liters of water (at max. 14.5 dH). At the latest after 4 weeks.
Those who opt for the product, should clarify / test when he has to replace the cartridge. Because it makes little sense to change the cartridge every 4 weeks when their service no longer perform after 2 weeks.
