Tegan and Sara no longer need to reinvent itself. Since their last album they have found and manifested their style. The fourth album of the two is still more than "if it was you" vol 2 .. expand their range. It is a logical step forward, showing new facets of the two, without departing "innovation" by way of sheer. How stressful is the way to such an album, which is obtained when viewing the included making-ofs an impression. You have not made easy. That you can hear that one can enjoy. They did not do it for the money. The cover indicated on what matters: content rather sexy shiny packaging. To use high-level songwriting, catchy, but without many trodden paths Radiomelodie- and rhythm - painful open and yet sufficiently abstracted to the listener to find their own dilemma in here and there. This underlines the pure sound that sweeps driven by the (great!) On the drums at times wonderfully executed frequently shoot guitars. Full details yet arranged sparingly, chased by a few but effective effects, this album is a terrific piece of music that will probably get no conventional radio airplay, but lets hope for hot and high-spirited on early live presentation. Anspieltips: "Where Does The Good Go", "Walking with a Ghost", "speak slow", "fix you up". And rarely someone sang true love beyond any kitsch in more perfect Lyrics, Tegan as in "I know I know I know" This is true in the stomach, but also the brain. NOTE: If you inhaled this album, one gets quickly into a frenzy, amazed, sweats, cranks silenced. And all this brings great fun. New Wave Pop kisses kisses punk kisses kissing rock Tegan and Sara.
