After Starbucks French Roast beans sold no more, our coffee enjoyment was marred. After testing various other beans we decided themselves to roast. Frightened by the price of other rust machines, we were surprised by the relatively low price of the roast master. The electronically controlled hot air stream is located not whisper, but not as loud as some exaggerate. Roasting in a closed room with smoke detectors is especially at the maximum browning not recommended under the hood. During roasting namely arises not about pleasant smell of coffee but just before the second cracking the beans considerable smoke! We therefore roasting in the garage, which works fine, when the gate is open. We prefer a rather dark armor, which perfectly succeeds in Level 7. The pretreated coffee company Diekmann is a must. Commercially available green coffee still has the silver skin, swirling in the hot-air roasting through the area and mean in the worst case a fire hazard. The pre-treated coffee has a good quality!
Conclusion: We are very satisfied and finally our French Roast again! The roast master makes a solid, clean impression processed and compared, relatively cheap.
