I have 2 Maine Coons and feed exclusively Royal Canin. At first, I once tried this and that food from different manufacturers, but now I feed only the Maine Coon specially prepared feed. In a journal at the vet I read also the good performance of dried fodder of RC. But since I am of the opinion that cats should get some more variety, I bought times the Indoor Long Hair, Hair & Skin, Fit 32 or Feline Vitality, but honestly, eat my two rascals the Maine Coon feed prefer and also the " Fellauskotzen "has been greatly reduced because it is better digested. Nassfutter I offer actually barely, since they sniff it only briefly, the sauce to lick and then "turn back"! I watch as she liked to drink from any water containers (preferably from the bathtub). Since gambling is also guaranteed, if I do not completely to turn on the tap and let the water run slowly :-) Every now and then they get even yogurt and cottage cheese. The lining of RC I find not too expensive, because the cats eat actually less, because it saturates more than a cheaper dry food. Since I have a normal weight cat with a small appetite and an 8 kg cat, I have to be careful that the cat no longer increases. The food is always ready and the cat has his feeding rhythm found and does not eat without limits. Now I wish all cat owners a good decision power to choose the right food.
