I just bought this book and I am delighted. There are over 100 recipes in English and American desserts some of which I did not know at all. The recipes are very well explained and simple to make. I love the "right to know" who brings a very personal touch to the book and gives us lots of information on desserts which we do not know the history of France. For the moment I tested the NY cheesecake, cheesecake without cooking the milk jam, shortbread and dark chocolate cookies. This weekend if I have time I will test banoffee pie, the "black bottom cupcake" and smoothies.
