Ordered, delivered, unpacked ...
Get one does a small cardboard box. Therein is a guide, a screw, a mini CD with driver and the actual card in a protective packaging.
Now I built the card and turned on the PC again.
Plug and Play no trace, as here wrote some reviews. Windows bleated at once, that would be no driver present.
So I thought to myself, it would be no problem and put the driver CD. To see you get now a list of ways row drivers for some PCIe cards. I click on the 502U. Although the installation of the driver started, but stopped again immediately because alleged a map would be available.
Well I went to the German website of Orico and found a link to a reseller of the products Orico. There under Downloads I found a driver for 502U, which went dirkt right away for this card. After installation and restarting the card, as you should, it ran. However, during a visit to the website of Via Labs, the chipmaker of the chip, which is used on the map, I realized that was the outdated driver. So I invited the new down and this was immediately.
Conclusion:
The map is processed with value and also runs. The driver install CD was not and I had to seek out these from the Internet. Would not this driver disaster, I would have given even 5 stars.
EDIT 31.05.2014:
Running does the card for 4 days now and I've used the latest driver. At the SATA III card but does not come close, and unfortunately crashing 7 64 bit all about 2 hours my Windows. In blue screen has always been the card of error. This error is only way, since I have expanded the map again.
So for 25 euros which is a neat verbuggtes product. I am ziehmlich sour because my Windows is repeatedly crashed because of the map.
