Have the LG RH 388 H for about 2 years now. Design is probably a matter of taste, I like the understated look with the silver bar and the round buttons. Operation is virtually self-explanatory, the manual I have not used since commissioning. With regard to the functions I am also satisfied, slideshows of pictures is a little slow in the screen layout. There is also a limit on what the resolution of the images on concerns about 5MP (if I'm not mistaken now), given the tough shot composition for higher resolutions making the limitation probably reasonable because it is too slow otherwise. But means that it must first have to shrink in images by most current digital cameras.
Now for the negatives: Unfortunately, the DVD has drive after about 1.5 years abandoned his service. It recognizes DVDs no longer correct and often then the charging goes on and will remain open - even if no DVD inside. I can not exclude the possibility that the malfunction can be attributed to the operation ungentle my children, but I think so should keep a unit for more than 1.5 years. But we have him still as a hard disk recorder in operation because of errors apparently limited to the DVD drive.
