Since our old Siemens food slicer (MS 65507) has unfortunately given up the ghost, we have bought the design standard prettier current Siemens model in an electronics market, including because of Parental Control (one must ever press a button on the top and rear of the machine at the same time, thus the motor starts). Unfortunately we noticed arrived home that the engine is wrongly named Siemens and has besides its looks nothing to offer, because it was obviously cut corners here (to thin plastic to weak motor, no additional switch for motor-endurance ). The consequent problems see above.
