With The Power of Six, Pittacus Lore keeps pace with Number four, namely an increasing rate: the story starts slowly and gains in intensity. Both warn you, if you can put the book early, you will turn over the pages, the more you will become addicted.
The chapters alternate between the view and the Four Seven, which allows us to learn more about Loriens and the Mogadoriens. We learn more about the past of Six, which delighted me since I loved this character, strong and independent. I appreciate it even more now! Same for Sam, who wins in charisma. The author makes it one of the heroes of this second opus. Small flat for number four, which, I find, loses its charm by playing boring teenagers that are found in many novels today: a completely undecided boy with these "I do not know that I love, am lost, I am in love with two girls. " The story did not really need that. Again, Pittacus Lore gives us action scenes breathtaking. Writing is very cinematic (especially for battles), although for the moment there is no information about a possible adaptation of the second volume of the adventures of Number Four.
The Power of Six also allows us to discover other Loriens including number Number Seven and Nine. Besides, Pittacus Lore us to discover the history of Neuf via The Lost Files: Nine's Legacy, a booklet of 97 pages available in e-book only.
Namely, this saga would apparently expected in six volumes. The third book, to be called The Rise of Nine, is scheduled for August 30, 2012 in the United Kingdom and the United States. We must therefore be patient
