Here the most surprising book dedicated to most popular singer of the 20th century. In fact, the antithesis of many biographies (often legitimate, sometimes ...) that trace the childhood, adolescence and adult life of the mega-star; Here is an album that speaks more highly developed tastes of Michael Jackson history, specifically his passion for the great people of the Renaissance (L. Da Vinci, Michelangelo ...). Indeed the author, a French historian, met the star several times and discussed with him their common passions. Here, we learn here how this place their discussions, exchanges during a trip the two protagonists in Africa where MJ discover the ways and customs of his brethren of the poor continent (economically I hear). We also learn the content of their rich debates on the history of France, Italy and Navarre and how the American singer has attempted, unsuccessfully, to buy a castle in the country beret and baguette (with the Like his friend Mick Jagger). Two important caveats nevertheless appeared to me about this book: 1) The star, that is discovered under a much more intellectual and cultivated appearance, but as is so there is nothing for its artistic qualities and nothing he did that he was Michael Jackson. 2) Under the cover to put on paper their rich discussions and disagreements (at least differences), I had the distinct impression (but maybe wrong?) The author was seeking primarily to splash us with his knowledge of important the history of La Renaissance. A book with truly original content, maybe a little too ...
