This excellent historical work traces the Capetian time - you will be suspected it - and analyzes the strengthening of royal power: the king of the Franks he is now king of France? Like King "most powerful princes" did he become the Sovereign of what is beginning to look like a fitted state borders?

A subject very well treated with professionalism, in a pleasant language to read.

I added that having studied law and not have dried the course of History of Private Law will greatly help in understanding what the author wants to show in the last part of the book - but it's not essential to understand the outline.

5/5, highly recommended.
