Philips Sonicare HX9332 / 04 DiamondClean sonic toothbrush, ceramic white (Personal Care)

Customer Review

I'm considering buying an electric toothbrush for years, but so far could still completely convince no product. When I came across recently on the Sonicare Diamond Clean, I was immediately impressed and have decided after careful consideration, despite the high purchase price for sale.

Since this is my first electric toothbrush, something of comparison to other products lacking. But this much I can definitely say, are worlds apart conventional brushing with a manual toothbrush and Sonicare Diamond Clean! For one thing, brushing with the Sonicare is much faster, on the other hand, the teeth feel even really clean, smooth and refreshing on. But the cleaning result, I must really say much, because it's all unanimously from all reviews indicate that the result is just fantastic.

Much rather I would like to pick up on and evaluate some criticisms from other reviews:

- The on / off switch and changing the different modes: When I first had the toothbrush in her hand and she was going to use, I fell right on that it's actually a bit awkward to flush mode switch while the toothbrush is in the mouth has. You can only change the mode namely, when the toothbrush is in and if you do not do this in your mouth, you have the same a few splashes on the mirror. But the fact is that the toothbrush saves the selected mode and I use the button from now on only as off switch because I brush the teeth exclusively in "Sensitive" mode. Thus, it is to me really does not matter whether the change mode is a bit cumbersome. My dentist also has the Sonicare and advised me how to use this mode. Too thorough brushing namely could be attacked any of the tooth enamel. So rather not overdo it, the Sensitive mode is enough perfectly.

- The handle / grip of the toothbrush: Some users have complained that the toothbrush can not very well put in his hand because they no knobs etc. have the handle. Who has this fear, I can completely calm. The toothbrush is great in the hand, has good grip and is not a bit slippery. Great art is not like some victim handling! Recently, I've seen the predecessor with the knobs with relatives and have finally understood why Philips has waived the processing of these rubber studs at the Sonicare Diamond Clean. These rubber studs tend but very strong on this terrible, dirty approach, which is just unhygienic over time. The Clean Diamond has no real corners and edges where dirt can accumulate and can be cleaned wonderful because it is easily processed well therefore.

- Battery life: Since I only just under 1 1/2 weeks may call my own toothbrush, I can not say so much about it actually. But I fear, or the suspicion that the people whose battery is broken after 1-2 years, have asked the toothbrush after almost each use again in the charging glass. The toothbrush is also good without being in the glass and a durable battery would also be used regularly and fully discharged. We know from our laptops, cell phone, etc. and this is definitely for a toothbrush. The battery lasts on a single charge but to the 3 weeks so why should I put the toothbrush in the charger continuously glass ?! Or you can the induction field does not permanently in the socket so that the toothbrush does not always loads when it is in the charging glass.

In addition, I would point out that this plastic stand that can be seen on some pictures and would alternatively be used for charging glass, no longer part of the delivery and actually is only for reasons of hygiene in dental practices are used. For I have wondered if he was mistakenly forgot to deliver. Then I talked with the Philips Customer, who gave me this information. I must say that I find this a pity. Of course one has 2 charging options by glass and case. The case I see but purely as a travel accessory and should I go to the charging of glass to break, I have to use any alternative the induction field. Too bad the plastic stand would have been a nice backup. But here rant at a very high level!

Finally, a tip from me: if you registered the toothbrush on the Philips website, the warranty from 2 to 3 year extension! But this must be done very quickly in the first weeks after purchase!

So people who a (new) is still at the superior to buy electric toothbrush: With this product, you can absolutely not go wrong, quite the contrary. Yes, it's not cheap, but worth it !! :)
