Display: Good and neutral color representation. Even in idle mode the brightness is sufficient to read the clock.
Battery: The battery life is better than imagined. (Morning 6 clock clock 22 ~ 70% remaining battery)
Operation: Android Wear is easy to operate. Notifications are displayed directly on the clock and can be activated separately each app. The voice recognition is quite good, but I do not use these. But there are eg WhatsApp the opportunity to respond even without speech recognition. You simply select one of the possible answers such as yes, no, etc., and it can send about the clock. Otherwise, I use a variety of apps from the Play Store (A calculator, an app for sending SMS text modules, an app to make phone calls and a calendar). The use of music player, has proven to be impractical. I use still the headset key, as this is faster and more practical. However, be represented at the clock call other functions such as volume rules. Android Wear is now supported by an increasing number of apps, so that a new day is added.
Benefits: Unlike a normal clock offers a SmartWatch quite a few functions that provide a greater comfort. The smartphone can often remain in your pocket, because the display of notifications made on the clock. As a train driver, I like the way calls over the clock to start (in conjunction with a headset). Even sending a small SMS (text block) is straight forward on the clock.
So if you want to try a time SmartWatch gets with the LG G Watch an inexpensive product. The Moto 360 looks elegant, but also costs a lot more and also offers just the same features as the LG G Watch. The LG G Watch has even installed the more modern processor.
Disadvantage: The LG G Watch only works with Android smartphones.
