The packaging of TESA was quite good, you can open the box and has are all nice to each other. At first glance, the materials made a very high-quality impression, which also continued to show in the assembly. Using the formula to calculate the lengths of the aluminum profiles on the instructions of the first point was processed quickly, the profiles were quickly cut and trimmed. Next, we had to jump on the instructions of the adapter sets and - as described there - to move the brush seals. To fit the profile, however, was changed back to the normal instructions (so it went for the rest continue: 1-3 point here, point 4 there, points 5 and 6 then again, etc .; this was a bit annoying, a joint guidance would I felt as simple, so it does not happen that one misses the point). I have to say I was a little worried by the other reviews here, as far as the screws of the corner connectors. Already at the first screw but turned the real problem for the supposedly "cheap screws" represents: the holes in the plastic blocks were simply not drilled deep enough so the screw blocked at the end of the hole and could not stretch properly ... You screw the blocks off and pierced by holes, the installation works fine - even without crazy or "ausgenudelte" screws. ;)
After installation of the frame was a short test whether the frame for fits to the window.
Also this point we were able to check off - we went to the actual mosquito nets. The grid will be rolled out over the frame and then tensioned with a sort of rubber seal. With the included "TESA-tool" the whole works very well indeed, but is nevertheless quite exhausting and takes ...
Excess grid is externally cut off so that all looks clean. The assembly of the hinge parts turned back a little more difficult is, you had to switch between the various instructions, but ultimately succeeded and after attaching the cover to the frame we could mount the door. Using pliers were the hinges compressed the frame and fastened the bolts, then the springs were stretched.
Everything worked! Unfortunately, the door did not close properly: through the side-mounted magnets the door had become too wide and "grazed" on the plaster ...
Now good advice was expensive - we decided to expand the door again and attach the magnet up and down.
The Assembly was now lighter by hand and the door could be reinstalled and tested - pass function test!
Now to my review:
The door is very sophisticated, everything is pretty well described and also quite easy to install.
But the Assembly is ansich unfortunately quite time consuming, as a couple, we have about 2.5 hours gewerkelt because even though we are well versed handerwerklich.
A star deduction there but for the relatively high price, the long installation time and also, for example, the necessity of having to rework the connector. All in all, it is a quality product that lets you see can be satisfied.
