RE 6 is aware of Capcon controlled misnomer! The first 1-2 hours (Leon and Helena) correspond approximately to the original RE philosophy. This is usually the time you need to audition to get a picture of the game. And then .... go all properties listed above flutes. What remains is a simple monotone shooting game without depth. I think even right shooter players is too shallow. Somehow I have the feeling you RE players still wanted to rip off quickly with the "old". The "old farts" have indeed the coal to fast times to buy a game. The new / young players clientele was Capcon probably not financially secure enough.
I do not mind if you want to modernize a game concept - but not by building a completely different game mechanics and all the old values overboard throws. That did not somehow work properly with the latest Final Fantasy parts.
I regret really, that I during the 3 section of RE 6 had no desire to play it on. The new character Jake sounded so interesting and Ada Wong was already great to play but now ... pity Ada, your story can be played by players who find the new game concept okay.
Nevertheless, players who are on an average, comparatively undemanding shooting game with (only) good graphics and not of the "vergurkten" control in the racing sequences - be deterred (Chris fleeing the BOW in the underwater level Arrrgh!) , are repealed with RE 6 well. All others vorallendingen the older RE fans, I recommend to wait for the good part is in the bargain bin or to play more than 3 hours sample.
Why Capcon did not put the whole thing as a spin-off on the market: for example: "Resident of Honor" or "Gears of Evil"? Then no one could have rummaulen. Because if Resident Evil is on it, it should be in there too!
