As a YUV PS2 / PS3 cable was available in my home at any retailer, I chose this. But unfortunately my fears were was. After I have any source of error on my part excluded, I was sure that it is up to the cable, the TV remains the black.
The return of the article for me was intellectually complex than to go even to troubleshoot. And lo and behold - soldered> No Videogrounding the plug PS-sided. I can well imagine that this problem occurs in many of these cables and leads to black photos with customers.
For ~ 5 you can buy the cable well, if you want a 12-pin connector for the price MultiAV have to lend a hand, then you have namely image, or just leave it.

But delivery was promptly and as I have nothing to complain about
