Heavy Horses Remastered (Audio CD)

Customer Review

"Heavy Horses" was published in 1978 and was recorded by Martin Barre (guitars), John Evan (keyboards), Barriemore Barlow (drums), John Glascock (Bass Guitar), David Palmer (keyboards) and of course Ian Anderson (vocals, flute and various other instruments). "Heavy Horses" is already the 11th studio album of the group led by Ian Anderson and the 2nd of the so-called "rustic" phase.

After it at "Songs From The Wood", the predecessor to life went in nature, portrays us "Heavy Horses" life around the farm. Ian Anderson Ian Anderson would not, if he did not ennoble this yet strangely sounding theme song with jewels. The original version presented to us 9 great songs, just the end of `And the mouse police never sleeps` do not like it. `` No lullaby` Acres wild` and show us the harder side of the group and are certainly among the top songs of the group at all. The same applies to `Moths` and of course` Heavy horses` itself. The title track is a grandiose composition and more than 8 minutes. The play was even again in 2009 in the setlist. But quite simple songs like `One brown mouse` know to inspire. In addition, are still represented on the new Fassug 2 great songs that have it at the time failed to LP.

"Heavy Horses" is one of the many highlights of Jethro Tull, definitely. Above all, it is quite varied. Here are (Hard) - Folk rock songs alongside tracks and it just fits, so 5 stars from me.
